I understand your sentiments, totally. To be honest, much of what students hate teachers hate as well. Your job is to make it better for your students and you can. We are teaching new students in old ways. Instead of teaching them what they need to "know" (who knows what that will be??) we need to teach them to learn what they need. I just chose a "theme" for my blog, and that was part of the theme. I don't think there's a lot of options in wordpress (or if there is I haven't looked into it much)--instead I think you kindof pick a theme and you're stuck with it. Wordpress, I think, sacrificed all those options to be incredibly easy to use. Like Macs, which are silly :) Well…I didn’t do anything technical, I’m afraid.
